Founded 12 years ago, Akshara continues to serve as a sanctuary for book lovers.
Established under the Kerala State Library Council, Akshara Public Library began as a local initiative to create a welcoming environment for readers. The goal was to enhance literacy and access to knowledge in the community.
Over the years, Akshara has served countless residents, including students, families, and avid readers, creating a rich culture of literary appreciation in Kanichukulam and its surroundings.
Akshara has been recognized for its impactful contribution to the community and has received multiple awards for promoting literacy and enhancing the reading culture in Kerala over the last decade.
